i've seen these guys mentioned here a few times, mostly by pumachick;
i just gave the first track of their album a spin, and i'm digging it. does anybody have the rest of the album? is it good? other thoughts?

:!: I tried to listen to it again and it reminds me of a modern day, glossed up Oingo Boingo track that didn't make 'Back To School'. IMO, it lacks that triple-lindy punch. Then again, I liked Polanski's The Ninth Gate.

funny, i was opposite. i saw them open for ted leo earlier this year, they weren't the best live. but then again, it could've been an off night. they're coming to la next month so i will definitely check them out again.

the new album is out on 9/27, and i'm excited for it. mr. mister you should check out their first album solid guild. it's good stuff and i think you can find some mp3's floating around on insound. or check the startime international website.

Yeah, I too saw 'em with TL and found them really generic guitar indie tedium. Maybe they were having an off day.

i've only heard "the devil wears earplugs", but i really liked it. i can see the dude's voice being kinda grating after awhile, though.
