Anyone else interested in this? I found a copy of it used today (I think it comes out sometime in September) so I'll let you guys know what I think.

the cover is better than the actual album. and that aint sayin' much.

the DFA remix of Smiling Off isn't bad though.

I got this yesterday and I like it infinitely more than Creature Comforts. Initial thoughts are that its one of my favorites of the year, say, top 10 or so. Really dig the first track.

Can't wait to hear it. Probably going by after work to buy it.

They're playing here tomorrow. If I hadn't seen Merzbow last night, and Mouthus x 3, Lightning Bolt, Wizzards, Goa, Dreamcatcher x 2, Crude Hill, Mindflayer, Kites, I might be more into going. Maybe I'll just stop by and pick up the record.

I don't get it. Are the above-mentioned bands already playing the new Black Dice record live?

Explanation: Bonor saw those bands live last night and from the sounds of it either doesn't have the $$ to go see Black Dice or he just doesn't feel like being barraged by ambient noise and bleeps again.
Black Dice would be selling the record at their show tonight.

I saw those bands in the last week alone. A lotta noise.

Upon first listen.... I like it, a lot. From the same template as Miles of Smiles, Cone Toaster and Creature Comforts, but somehow louder and in a weird way..... more aggressive. That's after hearing it once. I'm sure I'll get stoned this weekend and really get into it.
