Did anyone buy this a couple of weeks ago? I'm digging it. Production is a little slicker, and the EVIL psych is played down for a little more "pop" approach. Still one of the cooler bands around.

i need to pick this up. i really liked phoenix a lot. i had no idea they even had something new coming out until it actually came out. that was probably the first time in months that i'd heard no one talk up a record before its release.

I only have Phoenix, but I love that album. Surgery is on my to-get list.

This guy I know appears to be quite infatuated with this album. I listened to it the other day at the record store and it is pretty good. If I end up picking up the album I may end up talking MNSAA into going to see them with the Gris Gris in October.

I remember when Phoenix came out I couldn't stop hearing about it so I downloaded it and listened to it and thought "hey this is pretty good" and then never listened to it ever again.

I can't say I'm overwhelmed by the album but then again I've only listened to it a couple of times. I will say, though, that "Bleed Without You Babe" is one of my favorite songs of the year.

Matthew, I think you'd dig 'em knowing your taste in music.
