Oh, don't worry - if'n de Bulldogs were playin' the Trojans, they would-a got they asses handed to 'em.

As it is - Spurrier had them gnashing teeth. AND THIS, his first year at the helm in Columbia.

Next year, the Cocks win.

You can spell LSU the same way. That'd be kinda strange, though.

Bo Pellini, uh, that was horrible.

This is the SEC, Bubba. A win is a win.

But yeah, that was really ugly.....I personally thought we were trying to get a little to fancy on offense. Just line it up and pound it boys.

Two weeks, still no INT's for Ryan Hart. If Palko's offense stays this inept, RU is gonna clobber the Panthers.

These redirection running plays were getting annoying, especially when none of them worked. That, and penalties almost killed us.

2 things here: 1) Sometimes it is just as important to be lucky as it is to be good. 2) You've never paid a lick of attention to the SEC or the Dawgs before. South Carolina, especially in recent years, ALWAYS plays the Dawgs tough. Beat us in 2000 and 2001. Pollack's tip/interception/touchdown saved our asses in 2002. It is a strange thing but no matter how much "better" the Dawgs are, this is a tuff game.

2-0, though bitches.

Also, this game has been decided by more than 10 points ONCE in the last 6 years. Whoever wins that game usually goes on to play on New Years Day. The year USC beat us they went on to beat Ohio State in the Outback bowl.

The year UGA won the SEC we got by them barely due to the "Pollack" play and went on to beat LSU and Tenn. who both had good teams that year. Not to mention kicking the ever livin shit out of Ga Tech.

Strange things happen when these teams play. Something about the SEC opener and a lot usually riding on the game.

I'll take the win every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

<--------Was PISSED that I couldn't watch the game. Cap'N and I played a gig, so I taped it and watched it when I got home. That's why I didn't answer the phone when my buddy Brent, my Dad, my boy Matt, and Bloor called twice, cause I knew they were all gonna tell me what was going on.

Sorry dude. I called b/c I was PISSED and needed to vent.

Did talk to Derris, who was actually inside the stadium----he sounded like he was feeling pretty good.

Yeah, I had Derris sending me text messages INSIDE the church at a wedding.

Then, while ther bridal/groom parties took pix, I sat in the car and listened to Munson. I think the gf got her first taste of how football goes around these parts when she and her friends tried to pile in while SC had the ball and we needed a stop to close this bitch out....Message to her: It Gets Worse.

And the lack of (American) football is worse.

Did you see HST's "suicide note" in RS's most recent ish? He cites the close of the '04 NFL season as a signal moment of the end of his days....

That seemed to be the plan during the 2nd half after we FINALLY quit trying to run the fucking draw. Bad idea against that "D" Richt. Apparently, they weren't fully prepared for that odd-ball set-up the Cocks D was running.
I wanted to f'n kill Shockley during the first half. I hope his accuracy gets better next game.

I'm getting more impressed with D.L. Hugeley every game. If he keeps it up, Steve Harvey is gonne end up getting his ass redshirted.
