I know next to nothing about Gong. Is this guy sad or sound?

He likes 80's European Metal like Helloween and Celtic Frost which suggests the former but then he also likes Krautrock which suggests the latter.

Any Gong opinion?

Hey, Helloween's drummer was called Ingo Schwichtenberg. Maybe I should reconsider my opinion based just on that.

Anyway, any Gong fans out there? Any at all?

Not according to All Music, although they seem to be giving The Fall a run for their money in the Number of Ex Band Members stakes.
