does anyone know anything about this movie? i keep running across ads for it that tell me very little other than i'm being followed and advertised at. it looks like it could be a little more self-indulgent than i'm comfortable with.

I haven't heard of it but knowing you, you already have your advance tix for 'Roll Bounce".

oh man i would love to but it looks horrible even for me. still, no reason i can't add it to the netflix queue now...

I want to see Roll Bounce, actually. Looks like it'll get the period stuff down right and I'll probably appreciate jokes about stuff from my childhood. Umm...even if I wasn't a black kid.

Thumbsucker looks worthwhile, at least for a first viewing.

Actually I think Vaughn's character is somewhat of a goofball in this one. Just not his typical goofball role. The cast for this movie is huge. No idea when it hits the screen here in Minneapolis but I plan on seeing it.

Seeing where they're advertising (pitchfork, popmatters i think), this looks to be a movie for the hipsters. Whether this is good or bad remains to be seen. Other than the computer ads adn that the score was written by Tim DeLaughter, I know nothing about it.

I want to see Thumbsucker, but it could very well be too precious and too indie. We will see.

1) Keanu Reeves as a creepy, new age orthodontist.

2) Hot debate team geeks.

3) Shit falls out of the sky in the preview.

it looks pretty good, I will probably check it out. it was filmed here in portland and the surrounding suburbs.
