you're fucking 17 and the Satellite Ballrooms website changes the Of Montreal show to 18+ AFTER you've purchased tickets, and then you try and call everyone you can call (from the venue) because Of Montreals website says that its All Ages and me and about 6 other friends purchased tickets under the assumption that it was All Ages.. And then you finally get in touch with someone and it's the booking agent and he's sort of reassuring but he just tells you to call tomorrow to see what they can do. Oh they better fucking do something. I'm what, only 8 months off from being 18? Fuck my age.

Goddamnit.

Tell me it'll all be okay.

I emailed them and made my situation seem really terrible so I hope they'll pity me. But really, the situation is terrible. A lot of people are going, i'm sure even more kids are having the same problem as I am. It's just a big problem for the people who work there in general, not just me and my friends.

Maybe you'll outlive me though, you never know. I can't help my age.. but it really does suck being 17. I'm an amateur with art and I can't get in to 18+ shows. AND my parents can take away my car and ground me whenever they want.
I usually don't get grounded though.. the last thing I was grounded for was not picking up my cell phone. I never hear it ring, but oh man it pisses my mom off. I was grounded for less than 14 hours.
