New album from one of the most overlooked and talented bands IMO. Listening to it now, more comments later, but here's an MP3 from it...

Hey, cool! I thought I was the only one who knew of this band (but still don't own anything by them!) I ran across their name mentioned somewhere quite a while ago, checked out some soundclips and loved it, then was frustrated when all I could find were $35 imports. Looks like a Canadian import of Frengers, the album I was considering at the time, can now be had for $18 or online.

Now I can't remember what the previous album sounded like - not that this is bad, but not what I was thinking they'd sound like. This seems a little more dream-pop. But good enough that I'll probably seek out a copy. Thanks for sharing!

this album seems like a concept album, as many of the songs drift into eachother. the production is outstanding as well.

people will once again sleep on these guys, but those that pick this up will probably love it.

Underrated band, I can see why people have a hard time with them though.

I've heard something off Frengers before, and these songs were pretty good. Quite an interesting band.

Broken Social Scene is playing on this bill too---and I'm going to see this.. Never heard Mew before, but sounds like this is going to be a great show.

Haven't listened to the tracks yet, but that's gotta be my favorite band name of the year.

I remember hearing about Frengers when it was out, but assumed it wasn't released here. I've seen the new one about a fair bit and was wondering what it was like. Cheers Dalen
