dating friends can turn into total awesomeness or it can be a total nightmare (at least from my experience... my ex= nightmare, current situation= awesome). it depends on the communication between you two on how it pans out. but, my suggestion is to take it easy since she just broke up with her bf.

also, if alcohol is involved, it can be a touchy situation AFTER the fact because if you TRULY value her friendship, then you don't want this to be based on sex right? or if you do, then handle it but if not, be very clear to her about what you want.
