I was hoping "eventually" would at least be longer than SEVEN FUCKING DAYS!!!

Dude, I seriously thought of you after that last score. Sorry d00dz, at least they seem headed in the right direction.....

I'm starting to think the right direction for them just might be I-AA.

Now what will the sport punditocracy prattle on about, with the prospect of an undefeated USC coming to South Bend to play an undefeated Notre Dame no longer in the cards?

And, if either the BoSox or Yankees are not in the MLB playoffs (go Athletics! go Indians!), then it will be DAT crisis.

I think Berman might go into cardiac arrest over that...

I'd love to post some more, but I've got to go do my impersonation of Michael Hutchence right now.

Alright, FT, we're on for next week. UW/ND. Despite their loss today, your team should be a prohibitive favorite in the game. How about a little wager? Sig bet? CD-R Mix? A case of Squatter's Full Suspension Pale Ale vs. Dallas' best micro brew offering?

Let me know.

I'm in for a mix CD. Weis seems to be a slightly less spectacular failure than Willingham.

Oh, c'mon. They quit on Willingham two years early, and now you're quitting on Weis after three games? You Golden Domers need to learn some patience. :)

No. No. I think this is just one of Big Squat Bob's athletic-supporting mood-swings. He'll be flying after Tony Parker goes five-for-seven from behind the three to lead San Antonio to a second round playoff win, but the next nite, when Parker goes two-for-eleven overall and has five turnovers to three assists, he'll be ready to o.d. on percocet and cough syrup.

Same for ND. Road wins over Pitt and Michigan - bam, the boys are back! Lose a tight one to MSU - fuck, we're done; let's move down to IAA and play the Citadel and Georgia Southern.

Isn't that the way all sports fans are? I know it characterizes me. All excepet the percocet. I'm going Glock.

As I scrolled down the messages list three times, each time I read it as "I'm Gay for Charlie Watts"...finally my curiosity gave in...I'm relieved I mis-read it.

Montague nailed it.

I am the ultimate bi-polar sports fan. For some inexplicable reason, completely turning against my favorite teams when they lose is my default coping mechanism. The rational part of my brain (which currently comprises about 0.00000000000000000001%) fully knows and understands that ND is actually on the right track with Weis, and yesterday was a hard-fought loss against one of the Big 10's best. But fuck if I'll admit that right now...oh, shit, I already did.

Of course I nailed it.

As the Senator says - prolly only in jest by half - I am one of the few boarders who possesses across the board reading comprehension skill.

Thus, able to look back thru the haze of too many missed Vines gigs and percodan runs with Carlos D to remember FT's guise four or five screen-names ago...
