So the first time I heard this, with the exception of the first track, I thought this CD was absolute bullshit. In fact, by the time I heard track 7 (which is basically nothing but a re-hash of Track 3 from () ), I turned the CD off, which is the last thing I thought I'd ever have to do on a Sigur Ros CD...

Anyways, this morning, after finishing the entire album, I must say it's not very good. It sounds like they were trying to make a Coldplay album or something just as bad, and...yeah.

So the same time I got that I bought an advance copy of Rogue Wave's new album. It's up for grabs if anyone likes them.

Something hasn't about Takk hasn't quite clicked with me yet. The second track is amazing and I do enjoy the rest, but it just hasn't blown me away like I feel it may have the ability to do. I'm going to keep giving it more listens because I can't form any solid thoughts yet.

IMO, it is far better as a whole than their previous releases. It doesn't ever feel dull or dragging. Album of the year, no question.

I think I'll go pick up Takk today after I return a DVD. I'm really digging the clips that I downloaded.

Listening to it now.

First and-a-half impression: I like () better than Takk but it's still good.

All y'all Sigur Ros fans ought to check out that Hafler Trio disks w/Jonssi.
