So what's the overall feeling on this album?

I, myself, love it and wished it were a full-length album.

Excellent job by both parties, IMO.

i really like this album. i kinda like that its as short as it is. it doesnt give the album a chance to get too long or have crappier sub-par tracks on it...

I'm really happy with it. It actually lives up to - maybe surpasses - my expectations.

I've only heard a few songs that I downloaded from emusic, but I really, really liked what I heard. I'll definately be buying it.

I think that Woman King/In The Reigns is my #1 album of the year.

absolutely

like Woman King, we get to hear Sammy add in some new elements to his sound...and he incorporates it all nicely...16, Maybe Less is great, in that Pasing Afternoon vein...but History of Lovers is definitely my fav, it's great to hear him cut loose and boogie a bit

I like this better than any of what either artist has released (with the possible exception of Black Light). It has far exceeded my expectations.

calexico, for me at least, is good in the way that you really appreciate what they are doing but never listen to their albums.
