Gaping anii grew tired... And I had just read the part in Killing Yourself to Live where Klostermann used Sergei Bubka as part of a complex analogy, so my mind flushed back to his spectacular failure (but still bronze medal finish, if I recall correctly) at the '92 Olympiad in Barcelona.

Anyway, that performance - rather, failure - seemed fitting to describe me.

There ye go... Plus, we now have two posters impersonating athletes (Eddie Basden is the other).
