When someone decided to save people the disappointment of buying it.

I shouldn't say that. It's not that bad. It's just not that good. Another overproduced affair. I'd love to hear them record a modest song.

Yeah, man.

I've only given it a cursory listen, but it sounds like this will take some time to get into, if at all. That 7/4 song's still supa...

I'm curious, Jonathan, did you like 'You Forgot It In People'?

You Forgot It In People was perfect.

Where can I get the new one?

I really like Feist's contributions to the new BSS stuff. That's actually the only part I really enjoy at this point.

But, I'm not a fan of her solo material on record yet - *live* I think she's one of the best things going.

agreed - much better live. the album is a bit of a snoozer. the live stuff had a more rock edge to it.

I listened to the Feist album while at the record store, and it did sound a bit bland to me.

I liked it, but I thought it was shamelessly overproduced. Those songs were all better performed live without all the studio treatment, like on that "Anthems of a 17-year old Girl" song with the vocals. Modesty is not part of their vocabulary.

I like the 7/6 track, but that is it.

I actually really like the Feist solo stuff. It's a bit laid back, but sometimes I'm in the mood for that.

I have yet to get into BSS, and I have all three of their "albums", not including the new one.

I'd rather be Feist's fag.
