Is there some love out there for what I consider to be the single of the year?

And some derision for MTV2 for bleeping out the word "murder" in the chorus? Murder? They'll let countless sexually derogatory bit fly through unencumbered but this one they decide to censor?

Ridiculous.

sometimes it's the label that takes it out THINKING it won't pass.
but i agree sensoring the word murder is silly.

Not yet. Just got the single off iTunes.
Know where I can find the biggie remix?

Wait a minute... Biggie remix? How does that work?

someone (probably unoficcially) took an old biggie acapella and spliced a verse in the begining and end.

i don't think it's for sale, and i don't have it on my computer right now

"Welcome to Jamrock" by Damian "Junior Gong" Marley.
It's on my computer at home (same sitch with jewels) and I'm no good at that sort of thing anyway.
Dalen's probably your man on this.

Shit, I just read about this joint in the new Rolling Stone, and have been meaning to ask after it. So it's good, yes?

SOMEBODY NEEDS TO HOOK ME UP WITH THIS.

He was on the (back) cover of FADER a couple months ago and there was a weird story/song essay about it.
I don't like reggae, dub or dancehall much, but the song just gets you in this weird way. And it's in the folk tradition of his dad, which is nice to hear.
You'll like.

i don't live in NYC, but i read the top 30 playlist of Hot 97 so that i can find out all the popular songs for when i DJ.

this has been in their top 30 for like 10 months, and i just recently started hearing it in philly.
