Has anyone listened to this yet? Any opinions? I've been previewing the album in iTunes and it sounds pretty good. Ian sounds like he's in really good form.

Today, which is why I'm curious as to others opinions. I'm heading to the local record shop to browse and if the price is right, I might pick it up.

I've been listening to it for about a week and I must say that I am impressed with this album. Their best work in quite awhile if you ask me.

Cool, I'm going to have to go pick this up sometime. I agree that from the clips that I've heard, it really does sound great.

I'll be picking it up on Friday. I wanted to get it today, but I took the bus to work, so getting to a "record store" (Best Buy - the only option close to work) would have taken far too long.

I finally downloaded this. It's not quite a "triumphant return to form" as several critics have stated, but it is easily their best post-reunion album, and probably better than the s/t album. It will likely make the bottom of my year end top 10. "What If We Are?" (the final track) contains some of the worst lyrics that Ian has ever penned.

I'm surprised an obner search didn't yield much more discussion of this album than this.

I'm listening to this for the first time since last fall. I remember being pretty meh about it then, but that may have been due to unfair expectations stemming from all the return to form reviews and listening to their reissues a lot last summer.

Its obviously nowhere near as good as their first four albums but still this is much better than I recalled. I'm seeing for the the first time since the 80's next month. I'm feeling much better about the show after listening to this.

I acquired this album via an exchange at Hastings last year. The only song I got into was "Everything Kills You," which is kind of Coldplay-ish. Aside from that, I didn't spin it that much. It was overshadowed by too many other releases.

I'd like to hear this if anyone's feeling generous.
