I know nothing about photography (I really mean absolutely nothing -- I've never taken any classes on it, and I usually only actually take pictures at shows), but some of those (Glacier National Park, Maligne Lake) seem pretty good, while others (lesser town, canoes) could probably benefit from a better angle.

Those are all damn good. Nothing crappy about them. I particularly like the one of the old Jewish cemetary.

view the picture you're aiming to use as a desktop photo, and then look for the link that says "view different sizes" or something to that extent, and you can view large scale, small scale, medium, etc.

I've got one, but there's only a few things up there. Right now it's just a few pics of the baby, but I've also got a great piece of "art" up there:

thanks for taking the time to look at these...and for the kind words--i really appreciate it!

chris, i did take these photos...the "canada" group with my new nikon D70, the "prague" group was taken with my old nikon N70 before it died on me.

Northern Soul, PM me your email address and i'll send you whichever ones you'd like.

Hey man, I'm looking at either this camera or the Rebel XT right now. Can you tell me why I should go the Nikon route instead of Canon? I've been leaning towards the Canon side due to lens choices, higher megapixels, etc. I'm starting fresh, so no lens "systems" I've already bought into or anything.

Thanks for the tips, and great stuff by the way.

honestly, if i didn't previously own the nikon N70, i probably would've gone rebel XT. the thing is the D70 can use all of my lenses i already had for the N70.

the rebel XT is a bit cheaper, higher megapixel (as you said), and some more features i wish the D70 had (being able to shoot in b/w is the biggest one).

don't get me wrong though, i LOVE my D70 and would recommend it to anyone. in comparing the two in just how they "feel", the D70 feels a lot more solid (not heavy, just "solid") in my hands. it just fits right.

my buddy has the XT, and we've compared picture quality side by side (he was on the canada trip with me), and i'd have to say in that aspect, it's a wash.

hey guys, sorry but my photos are restricted to friends and fambly only at the mo'. I don't feel right about having pictures of family/friends available to the world without their consent. Are we tight enough to be considered friends? ;)

alright, finally marked my photos public, except for the ones with friends/family. The only photos I have loaded so far are from my husband's Cycle Oregon trip which started in Boardman, OR and ended in Astoria, OR. It was celebrating the centennial of the Lewis and Clark Trail. Nothing amazing like Jason's photos, but a nice little photo tour of Oregon.

I'll try loading some others in the near future.
