I personally thought this episode was brilliant. I agree that the narrator saying "gee I wonder why she didn't want him" was pretty stupid but the rest was great. I think those of you that missed season 2 probably missed a lot of the jokes.

G.O.B. explaining that having a father that always broke his promise is better than a father that never made the promise to begin with was hysterical.

I think they're still leaving the "Is Maebe adopted?" question up in the air. Cause the narrator said something like "While Maebe missed an opportunity to kiss one cousin, she did end up kissing another."

It just won't be the same to hear him yell "Steve Bluth!" with his arms raised, though.

Well...he never found out that he's a Bluth. Both him and GOB think that they were stood up...

And, for the record, the episode dragged a bit while reintroducing backstory, but was pretty funny. It displayed flashes of "the trademark charm" we've come to know and love...

I liked how they pushed it with a few sexual jokes this time. Great episode and now I'm really psyched for this season.

Only Steve Holt! isn't aware the GOB is his father. Michael pointed out to GOB that in the letter that he had gotten that it actually said that Steve Holt! is his son.

That was a lot of "that" in that sentence.

I thought the episode was great. It was a very strong start to the year if you ask me.

And I also liked KC. Has a lot of potential. And being a fan of Anthony Bourdain's show on TC, I can see where this could end up being a bit crazy and written really smart.

Last night was pretty vanilla, but next week's episode looks promising - Chachi makes his debut appearance as lawyer, Bob Loblaw. I'm still giggling.

I didn't think it was too vanilla. Lucille and George Sr with Buster's rubber hand? And Buster sniffing his hand after it's out of the washer?

It might've been my least favorite so far, which means it was still great. Is Charlize's accent SUPPOSED to be fake? It sounds like it. I'm gettin' kinda tired of them doing the dances. I seriously don't need to see it ever again, with the exception of GOB's of course.

also, I can't stop saying "Bob Loblaw"

I was figuring it is, since it is a fake Britain.

One of my favorite parts of the show. They'll keep it, and hopefully we'll get more of it - each time is more ridiculous than the previous.

Loved it, had me giggling for hours afterward. I hope the character can live up to what I'm expecting after the hilarious reveal last night.

the best was when George said here has to close his eyes and give it while in prison he just has to close his eyes and take it.

Last night had a few laughs, but overall a marked dip in quality. The wife suspects they're dumbing this shit down on purpose to trawl for better ratings.

A grocery chain in Canada for years, literally owned by a fellow named Bob Loblaw.

I thought the opposite - last week's seemed to be more obvious and more simple, but this week's was more like "classic" AD.

Rumor is that her character is actually a person with a mental disability.

What was the title of this week's episode? For some reason my Tivo didn't record it and I can't find a time when it repeats before the next episode.

I concluded this just from watching the episode. There was one point specifically where it was pretty obvious.

Thanks. I guess I'll have to catch it after the season is over.
