Okay, Venom, Sandman, and...who else?

How about this guy? Best gay man evil villain costume ever. Just look at his shoes for God's sake!

i've never been a big fan of the multiple bad-guy superhero movie--even if it's just two. i'm not fanboy but it seems that these comics have been out long enough to get enough material from one and you're not trying to do too much as to stretch the story too thin (but that's pretty much what superhero movie are for i guess)

Venom. No.

If they wanted to do Venom right they would need at least a two-movie buildup.

Topher Grace as Venom ...I don't know about that one...I hope he proves me wrong, but I just don't see Eric Foreman as Eddie Brock...
Dude is just to small....

I know Venom is really popular, but he came after my time as a major comic book fan, so I'm not really all that interested in him.

Sandman is great though.

It makes sense with Tobey Maguire as Spidey.
And Venom is always the scarriest of the villans, I thought. At least the scariest-looking. Like something from a nightmare.

Yeah, but Brock is such a big dude...If Topher puts on about 75lbs of muscle..Then I could see it..

the comic-book accuracy of this movie is going to blow, moreso than the first two. i'll still see it though.

Maybe Sandman will be the main villian in this one and the build up for Venom will start. I think a movie with Venom and Carnage would be cool. That was a fun series when I was in Junior High.

they should just throw the sinister six in there and fucking build up the venom thing.

and seriously, there's no WAY to blow the venom thing without getting into:
-the secret wars (hmm, interesting movie idea)
-Brock's history pre-venom
-spidey SLOWLY turning evil in the symiote before rejecting it

pretty much, the only way to pull this off would be to make this a sandman movie while spidey finds/wears the new costume. the belltower scene would have to come at the end of the movie (after he defears sandman, WITH the help of the costume?) setting things up for the next one. Jesus then they'd have to go into all the fucking clones and web of spider man crap. screw that noise.

and yeah that dude is WAY small for Venom. You'd pretty much have to get some psycho bodybuilder dude to play him. which would work.

How many more is Tobey signed up for? I know Kirsten Dunst has said this is her last.

The Sinister Six would be a mess. How do you find the time to build the back story for all of them? When they first appeared in the comic they were all established already.

I'm not crazy about Hobgoblin either if he's going to look as bad as the Green Goblin.

No matter how much they fuck with the story, it still won't be as bad as Punisher.

dusty, if you are referring to the old punisher with dolph, i can agree, but the new one wasn't too bad. in the new one, the family history was a bit overdone, and i don't know where they got the drinking problem from (although to be fair i haven't read the punisher since about '95 or so), but the movie itself was pretty cool. good action, decent acting. better than Daredevil, Elektra, or the Hulk, that's for sure,

but seriously people, let's talk about what really matters - like X-men Legends 2 and Ultimate Spiderman for the PS2. do they rock or what?

How is that Ultimate Spiderman ???? It looks good, but the last couple of spidey games bored me after an hour....

No, I was talking about the new one. I was kind of disappointed with all the "humanity" between him and his neighbors -- too much, that's all. Not enough "super" in the "superhero".

I agree with all of this, but then the Punisher isn't that great of a bok to me. Ennis really helped make it readable, but it just ran so one dimensional forever than I only really enjoyed it when he was paired with Daredevil or Spidey or something and grumbled about what pussies they were the whole time.

Ghost Rider I used to love. I stopped reading it when John Blaze was made out of metal. I've had issue one of the new run (which I believe is also Ennis) and just can't bring myself to read it.

The problem I had with the new Punisher movie was that he just didn't seem psycho enough...he seemed kind of whiny. And they ruined that russian dude from the books when he had tits. They should let Ennis have creative control on the next script, if there is one, and just let him go off.

The new Ghost Rider seemed decent enough even though he isn't even in the first issue except for flashbacks.
