i have nothing but not-yet-bottled homebrew (which i don't want to contaminate) and spiced rum (which i don't want to be contaminated by).

Nice, i like a brown ale every once in awhile but tend to like things a bit darker.

I love me an amber ale however.

Well yeah, this is going to be a Christmas present for a lot of people, so I didn't want to go and brew a pitch-black oatmeal stout that could bench-press 250 and then give it out to my mother-in-law and stuff . . . I have to work her up to that stuff.

I'll probably start up a Stout batch next weekend, though. I like really heavy, dark beers.

No beer.

Rum and cokes.

I haven't drank in well over a week. Oh wait. No, I had half a beer the other night. Never mind.

I'm finally pretty free of the side effects after my neuro's dumbass partner apparently gave me 5 times the amount of steroids necessary earlier in the week. yee haw (long story, but I briefly had the appearance of the man in the moon for a day-lol- and my neuro was rather pissed when i called him freaking out and told him what his partner had given me ha)

josh and I just watched Jersey Girl, and I have to admit it was rather cute. I enjoyed it. But then again I'm a sap. seriously. I'm a sap.

:drink:

I do want to try and do a clone batch of Moose Drool, though, if I can find a good recipe.

Well..........................if you ever want to ship a bottle of two to Idaho i think i could find a few people to sample them.

Me.

My dad wants me to start brewing. He's been doing it on and off for the last 20 years (friends in England got him started). One of these days.

I'm down with all styles of beer...I go through stages...I've been on an IPA kick here lately...but with it getting colder, the motor oil is starting to sound better

yeah, I'm all for seasonal brews (but stouts will always warm the cockles of my cold, cold heart).

i like IPAs because they were made for surviving the trip to India unspoiled - so they're hopped to hell and have twice the normal alcohol (often). A really good IPA can get you hammered in a hurry.

Ever since going through a batch of Pyramid IPA i haven't been back. It seemed a bit much, then again i got made fun of by a coworker for not digging Arrogant Bastard Ale. Damn that's some wild stuff.

Ha. I meant a mixer. Let's see... milk, orange juice (keep in mind that I abhor screwdrivers), maple syrup...

, Colin. Vodka + rum sounds like some awful shit.

My father drinks vodka on the rocks, un-garnished. I drink scotch on the rocks, and my brother drinks Maker's Mark or Jack Daniels on the rocks. We're a very sober family.

My mom drinks white zinfandel.
