I got my tickets in the mail today!! The only thing is it says the show is first come, first serve, so those tickets don't guarantee my entrance. I'll
get there early though for this. I'm sure they play last. Anyone familiar with shows at this place? What can we expect??

FUCK YEA

I used to go there all the time during my undergrad days at U of I. Looks wise, it's sort of a bigger version of Schuba's crossed with the Double Door. The sound, staff, and prices are all good to great (well, as of 5 years ago).

I'm in the same boat. There's really no way I can make it to Champaign for that weekend. I got my two tix in the mail yesterday and will give them away. PM if interested.

Anyone attend? I did and I loved every second of it. I think in an outdoor setting on a rather crisp, cool night they sounded AMAZING!~ I wish they'd get back together. Who knew Champaign had so many good looking girls?

Set List:
Little dipper
the pod
iron clad lou
ms. lazerus
inklings
green to me
comin' home
suicide machine
axolotls
stars
i hate it too

encore:
isle of the cheetah
i'd like your hair long

They didn't even take those tickets at the gates. I guess they expected a lot more people than what actually showed up. The group was smiles all night and super appreciative of the reception we gave them. A few local Champaign rockstars in attendance. That was my 2nd time ever seeing them and hopefully not the last.

I'm gonna log off and cry for a few hours now... HUM fans are good though, and a bootleg will circulate in a week or two....Were they selling any shirts? two years ago, when they played Furnace Fest, they made special reunion shirts just for that show...

sad....

next time.....next time....

No shirts, which was a disappointment because I would have been all over that. The classic shirts are the pill one that were sold at that New Year's Eve show. Hopefully next time...

Yea, I got my tix and everything and ended up not being able to make it, so I was pretty pissed about that.

they played a free show in downtown chicago last night. huge turnout. and they sounded amazing. the tone they got from those guitars was astounding. near the end of the set between songs the singer calmly said, "i'm really not that angry anymore." but, man, he can still reach to find that anger from 15-20 years ago.

unfortunately, they said there are no more shows scheduled at this point.
