joseph arthur performed at twist and shout before his bluebird concert in denver today. i couldn't go to the concert but i stopped at twist on the way home. great acoustic (and harmonica) set, altho brief (about half an hour). really nice guy.

signed a promo poster and my copy of "shadows" afterwords.

this will most likely be my only concert of 2004.

He's a great guy.

His longer sets with no crappy sound systems, are usually quite fine.

His shows are always hit or miss depending on the sound system. It's sad but true.

Just pay attention more to his lyrics more then anything else.

My friend who works at the venue I'll be seeing him at is very excited...especially, since she's the one who booked him (two nights!). She's informed me to be in for a treat. Yay!

oh, and for people on cactus, twist sold a limited 6 song ep of stuff that didn't make "shadows" after the show.

His assistant came onto the discussion list for him on yahoo, and said that there is going to be a cd released shortly of his live shows.

We shall see.
