my god I was horrified.

I went to see a midnite showing of rushmore fully expecting the usual odd crowd of humans. However, I was not expecting to see what I did. And although it was funny at first, the laughter quickly shifted to anger. There was a girl. She was wearing leg warmers. Big thick white ones. What is wrong with the people in this country. Why is it all of a sudden cool to wear leg warmers again. ugh.

It has been for about 6 months.

The good thing about fashion is if something offends you it quickly goes away. Leg warmers will go away next year and not be seen again until 2014.

I hope and pray to god that this is the case. I never want to see another leg warmer. The 80's were fashion disasters enough for two decades. No need to bring it back.

I haven’t seen them personally but do live in So Cal, referring to the weather. I was watching Conan tonight and a Gap commercial came on. It is all about not understand teenagers and such and the last they say is “...and who would of guessed leg warmers would come back?” Than this little six-year-old boy goes “I didn’t.” How cute is that?

Yea, I've been seeing them since at least the spring around here. And fashion takes a while to get to Cakalak, so I'm sure its been around longer.

And, judging from the OC, you never need a reason to rock the leg warmers. And since its the OC, I believe it.

Has anyone seen anyone wearing moon boots? Those are supposed to be in again.

I used to wear pink leg warmers over black legging type pants with this huge t shirt printed with flamingoes.

a good friend of mine wears leg warmers around her home because she just likes how they feel, but i don't believe she wears them outside of the house. she's also a costume designer, so she has access to decades of fashion. i really had no idea that they were making a comeback.

Moon boots are evrywhere right now! I'm just glad the woollen pauncho thing seems to have died a death.

yeah, saw lots of moon boots last year 'round this time. the leg warmers seem to have dropped off mostly here, thank god.

Leg warmers are only appropriate if you're a dancer and you're wearing them while readying to perform in front of a crowd.

Otherwise they're a no no.
