I missed it but watched it last night after downloading it.

I missed the Bob Loblaw reference though.

The hand in the dishwasher and Michael talking about his breakfast were great.

Last night had a few laughs, but overall a marked dip in quality. The wife suspects they're dumbing this shit down on purpose to trawl for better ratings.

I really hope she's wrong, but if she's not they shouldn't bother - this week's episode got worse ratings than last week's HORRIBLE numbers. It actually came in 5th this week - behind friggin' "7th Heaven" on the WB.

FOX better figure something out. Fast.

yeah, Scott Baio being their new lawyer. Lindsay like him and he says his name like 3 times. "Bob Loblaw".

I don't think there's going to be another episode until early November. Can anyone confirm this?

Oh shit, I didn't know this was out, either.

What's the general consensus on season 2? As good as the first? Better? I don't think I've seen a single episode after season 1.

I didn't catch the Bob Loblaw bit. Is that pronounced Low-blah or Lahb-lah?

Next episode: Oct. 31st ...

AD Season 2 is hysterical - moves at a much faster pace than season 1, but at least equally as funny...

And, long story short, I met Mitchell Hurwitz today. He was probably the nicest "celebrity" I've met in a while...

The Season 2 DVD set is worth buying for "Franklin" alone.

And the Good Grief episode, for all the Charlie Brown references.

I got mine today too, it looked like it was going pretty fast as well. I'm saving mine for the weekend, I can't wait. Season 2 is so fucking quotable.

From thefutoncritic.com ( spoilers inside - beware ) :

"ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT" RETURNS WITH A FULL HOUR MONDAY, NOVEMBER 7, ON FOX

Guest Stars Include Charlize Theron, Scott Baio, Dave Thomas, Frankie Muniz and Bob Einstein ( Super Dave Osbourne )

The Emmy Award-winning comedy ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT returns to the schedule with a full hour Monday, Nov. 7 ( 8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT ) on FOX.

[KITCHEN CONFIDENTIAL will be pre-empted for this night only. It will return to the schedule on Monday, Nov. 14.]

In the "Notapusy" episode (8:00-8:30 PM), Rita (guest star Charlize Theron) calls Michael (Jason Bateman) a word that he thinks means "weak or cowardly" when – in the British sense – it actually means "sweet or gentle." In an effort to prove to Rita he's not one of these, Michael tries to convince George-Michael (Michael Cera) to join him in some manly activities, but George-Michael is too busy prepping girlfriend Ann (Mae Whitman) for an "Inner-beauty Pageant" at the Church and State Fair. So Michael and his recently-discovered nephew Steve Holt (Justin Grant Wade) enter a triathlon, only to discover Gob (Will Arnett) is the one who stumbles at the finish line. Meanwhile, George Sr. (Jeffrey Tambor) tries to get some good P.R. by volunteering to speak at a "Scared Straight" meeting, but ends up giving advice about his prison days to the wrong group. Scott Baio returns as Bluth family attorney Bob Loblaw and Dave Thomas as Trevor.

In the "Mr. F" episode (8:30-9:00 PM), Michael must deal with a huge mole problem in order to salvage a major real estate deal with Japanese investors. In an effort to help Michael, Gob and Buster (Tony Hale) team up with George Sr.'s surrogate, Larry (guest star Bob Einstein), to devise a plan and save the deal, but their plan falls apart in a big way. Meanwhile, Tobias (David Cross) mistakes a CIA agent for a CAA agent and inadvertently betrays the family, and Michael makes Rita a proposal she can't refuse. Frankie Muniz makes a cameo as himself.

that does not explain why they were showing two hours of that fucking prison break show instead of this on monday night.

incidentally, every store in my area that I checked yesterday sold out of season 2. Might that be enough to keep this show going a bit longer? Unfortunately, I doubt it.

I don't know how long this is going on for or even how it happened but I just got $10 off Season 2 when I ordered it at Amazon with Super Saver Shipping. So my total was like $18.

I just finished watching Season 2; Goddamn this is a funny show. There were so many funny bits there.

"You tell my brother I've got a nice hard cot waiting here for him."

"You'd do that to your own brother?"

"I said cot."
