they're the type of band that probably won't have the predictable backlash actually. they stay out of the limelight, don't dress like clowns, and write brilliant songs. special needs and the paddingtons are in the same boat.

The Marianne Faithfull is out already as an expensive import already but gets stateside distribution Jan 25th. Her guest collaborators on it are Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds (3 songs), PJ Harvey (3 songs), Jon Brion (1 song) and Damon Albarn (1 song).
