That is the single most brilliant point ever made on this board. Pretty much everything else by solo Henley sucks wildebeast weenie, but that's an openly qual track right there. As for The Eagles, while they are definitely overplayed/overexposed/overrevered, they still had quite a few non-gar moments. And everything Joe Walsh has ever done is pretty much gold...at least up to the '90s. ESPECIALLY James Gang and '70 solo Walsh!

It's not that I think that they themselves are like the worst band ever or anything, it's just that they were the primary impetus for all that '80s synth crap I had to endure for all those years. Plus, that Dave Gahan really is a wanker.
