LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A cast member of the Emmy-winning TV series "Lost" and his wife were robbed at gunpoint in their Honolulu home, police and a spokeswoman for the actor said on Thursday.

A spokeswoman for actor Josh Holloway confirmed that he and his wife had been robbed.

Honolulu police declined to identify Holloway but said a couple living at his property was awakened at 4:10 a.m. local time on Wednesday by a man wearing gray-and-black shirt and baseball cap holding a handgun.

Local KHON-TV reported that the robber took cash and the keys to a Mercedes-Benz car later found in the area.

Holloway, 36, plays Sawyer on ABCs top-rated show "Lost" about survivors of a plane crash trying to survive on a mysterious, uncharted Pacific Island.

"My family and I are fine and appreciate everyone's concerns and good thoughts," the actor said in a statement. "We are very grateful for the help of the Honolulu police department and the support of the local community."

The show is shooting its second season on Hawaii's Oahu

The "arrow" attached to the other hatch might actually be a transmitting station with the figure being an antannae... somehow, things were being transmitted off the island, at least until the french chick changed the transmission.

We probably know of 2 hatches for sure and perhaps 3 and maybe 4...

The swan one where 108 has to be entered...
The arrow/antannae hatch with the new survivors are in that doesn't appear to be more than a bunker at this point..

And.... reaching I know...

The cable that goes into the ocean I think goes to an underwater facility (ie: sharks)
And whatever the French chick was in and she blew up could have been a "hatch" itself. She didn't build it.

I do think all 6 hatches are on or around the island...

A minor complaint, inspired by a Lost thread on some other board:

You know what's wrong with the Internet? While it's tons o' fun to have a Lost thread to theorize and obsess in, it too often leads to nitpicking about the quality of each episode and declarations that the show's jumped the shark. Ten years ago, I had more fun dissecting Twin Peaks with a few friends and people at work because it was all about the story, not the show.

I didn't notice it myself, it's something I pulled off that other Lost thread I mentioned. Nor did I notice that Hurley's boss Randy was played by the same actor who played Locke's boss Randy. Hmmmmm....

Going back a few episodes...

I didn't buy the theory about Ethan being the other guy living in the hatch, but yesterday I remembered that Ethan Rom is an anagram of "other man", so I guess it is pretty likely, except for Desmond calling that guy by some other name and saying he died, instead of saying he went missing or something.

I'm slow.

I feel the same way. I read an article a couple weeks back in USA Today in which the writers said they were going to try to make Shannon a more likeable character. I guess they did it!

So, is she really dead or are they going to have her survive and that other woman who was with the tail survivors be the one that is "lost forever." I'm guessing Shannon's really dead but I'm just throwing it out there. It doesn't look like we'll know for sure for a few more weeks.

or was that explained in one of the few season 1 episodes i still haven't seen (i think there are only 2 left).

If I remember correctly, Shannon chased a boy there and Boone went to bring her back only to find out that she's just trying to get money from him again. He used to pay off her boyfriends to stop seeing her but this time she was in on it as well.

She's dead, for certain. This sets up a pretty intense rivalry between Ana Lucia and Sayid, which could make for some interesting stuff.

I thought Shannon's death was kind of forced. It felt thrown in, as if she pissed off the show's creators and they just said, "Oh yeah?" Not that I was a fan of her character, but it just felt random - and I knew it was coming.

Yeah, it was. Shannon was playing Boone to get money from their mother's estate. She'd pretend she was falling for abusive men and Boone would rescue her and pay off the boyfriend. But the Australian lover played Shannon and took off with the money.

I'm reading some theories that it wasn't Ana Lucia that shot Shannon, and that we will find out who killed her in the next few episodes. Also, a theory that Libby is a mole for the Others.
