It sounds like Leo Kottke and Mike Gordon are joining up in the studio again this month, with an album and tour to result from it next year!

This is good news.

They collaborated on an album called Clone in 2002. While at times a little awkward in its density, the album is wholly charming, lyrically and compositionally, and is quite infectious. I think more than anything else, Clone is Gordon's album ...

excellent - this might have the best potential for an enduring, high-quality post-Phish collaboration. I love Clone, too, and can put it up on clevercactus share if no one else has already. i think it's really interesting that gordon has been the only person to break down kottke's phobia of collaboration.

very good news.

I think it promises to be the first, ifn't only post-Phish project with potential for amazement. I could use an upload of Clone, if you don't mind.
