I don't know but I sure do drive a Pontiac! It is a 1994 Pontiac Sunbird. Color? The blue from a pepsi can.

No I really love it, though. Besides the fact that it takes me 2-3 times to start it every other day.

Don't fret.

My first auto was a powder-blue 1980 Chevette. It only had an AM radio, too - so, I played lots of 1290 WMCS (classic r n' b/soul)... And, no air-conditioning, and a low-angled windshild.

No I actually do like it. I don't need a nice car now, or ever really. I mean when I get older I want something a step above this, obviously, but right now i'm happy with it. Blue Milk calls it a fisher price car.
I think i'll actually be really sad when it breaks down for good, because I will have to drive a light blue Lumina... my grandmas old car, and it's huge. I can't stand driving it.

But... But... But - it will have that "old person smell".

Can't beat that, large or small car.

Ha! I went from a '79 Chevette, light tan 4-speed to a '80 Impala 2 door (the one that shared the chassis with the Caprice Classic--huge car, monster power steering, looked like a cop if I was in your rear view mirror.

Wife has a 2001 Grand Am, and it starts like crap. Not a huge fan of late model GM's after this one.

<=== won't drive anything made after 1970 now.

I have family that worked on the Pontiac assembly line in Lansing, MI. All I'm saying is, they drive Fords.

Back to the original question. I saw a commercial with M83.

This is very appropriate. Though I had you pegged as a Dodge Series K owner. I could easily see you rollin' up on the set in one of these beasts:

It could be "Don't Save Us From the Flames" by M83.

I saw that commercial recently......

FT's first jalopy, earned by sacking groceries at Kroger in 1983, was a 1974 Mercury Grand Marquis...

Had a 50' hood and the backseat was larger than most 2-bedroom apartments. Freakin' sweet!

I had one of these monsters: a 1976 Monte Carlo

Go around the block once and a full tank dips to 3/4. And mine had a tape player that played tapes backward. A pimp car if there ever was one. Man, I miss it.
