I've heard the easiest thing to read on a screen is offwhite-on-offblack. Like a cream or a beige on a Dark Forest Green. That's what I'd like to see. White-on-black is too stark, so don't use that for comparison.

What Star Wars dork named those schemes? Jesus H Christ. I don't care if you look like Matt Damon, you go around naming things ClanzDarkness, MasterYodaClan, and ezHypershadow, nobody's ever gonna touch your special place.

See, some of them are beyond that. Either the concept of anyone other than their mother touching their special place is foreign, or they've long since accepted it and come to peace with it.

Just concentrate on the colours -- screw the names.

I went through about half, and there were a few that were alright. But I kinda prefer the Grey (as opposed to the Ghey). Keeps me looking as clean-cut as possible hereabouts.

On a side note, I know an apartment of folks who collect figurines (and paint them in their spare time), and they'd be all over those scheme names.

I thought the prevailing wisdom that steered us toward the gray scheme was its nondescriptness, which makes it full of stealthitude and what-not.

Yeah, probably a background of Frazetta women wielding battle axes against hill giants would attract attention from passing dept. managers.

I kind of doubt they were serious.
