i like their cd quite a bit but when i saw them at this year's siren festival i thought they were super boring. maybe they need to be performing in a club to be better appreciated.

Busty and I enjoy them immensely.

I enjoyed them, probably because they sounded like they had practiced a lot and were really tight.

they weren't overly exciting, but sounded good.

i saw them this past spring and the first few songs were horrendous. one of the guitar players kept messing up and i was ready to leave. then it all started to come together and the last two songs went well. so, i guess they were fine. they're not going to slay anyone, though.

I like them, but don't think they're your cup o' tea, Chase.

The National is opening for them, so I was kind of leaning against sticking around after their set anyway.

You'll feel no qualms after the first song.

I saw them with Autolux opening. Ambulance stood no chance after Autolux finished. I think I would have found them boring regardless.

Man, that one song "anecdote" is the shit. Other than that, really not a fan. We had a show set up with them sometime last year, but the promoter backed out on it and kaplow, no more show.

Autolux slayed the fuck out of them at the Double Door this year. We maybe stayed for two songs. Lame.

Sounds like I won't be sticking around to see them after The National then.

i was going to go to that show, but something else came up. i saw them at northwestern, opening for black keys and george clinton. unfortunately, i had to leave before either of them.

Autolux puts on such a great live show. I loved how the band incorporated the guitarist making his samples into cool intro's into songs.

I really like the Ambulance CD, but when I saw them they seemed to be rushing through their set, and the uptempo songs just didn't work as well for me. I really hate that. The last time I saw Ted Leo/ rx, they did the same thing.

liked the album, heard the live show sucks for the following reason (which seems to come across in interviews): it's apparent that ambulance ltd is a one man singer songwriter show with a band of hired guns, and they apparently all hate each other, which i'm sure isn't helped by the fact that they're touring all the time.

Yeah some friends of mine are good friends of one of them, and this sounds pretty accurate.
