I'm 75% in at this point.

I've been streaming some Reigning Sound today and they kick ass. Just some good straight forward rock n roll.

Greg Cartwright (of Reigning Sound) is playing geetar for the Cobras on this tour. It should be a good night.

Because Bama is the perfect place to set the wheels in motion for WORLD DOMINATION (I thought we went over this already). Derris some folks coming over for pre-show cocktails your welcome if you want, if not I will see you there.

Yeah, there are times when I miss living in EATL; then I wake up on time for work, not hungover, and without some dude kicking in my door or prybarring open my toolbox and I like Redlands a little more.

I do wanna start getting up for more of these midweek shows, though. More just to prove that I can do it again.

Because you're going to ride the golden ticket as long as you can, infiltrate the system, and take it over.

The show last night was GREAT. The Reigning Sound set was great, I will be picking up their album "Time Bomb High School" (?) as soon as funds are readily available.

THE DETROIT FUCKING COBRAS! I was really impressed. If Joey Ramone was alive last night he would have died watching this band. Great voice, and great songs. The guitar player who fronted The Reigning Sound, and pulled lead duty for The Cobras gets big ups for being a R'n'R monster.

If you have a chance to see this band do you will not be dissapointed.

Excellent! Now get yourself to a Fleshtones show (for whom the Cobras have opened).

Got a text from Derris last night saying basically the same thing.

I am happy to report that rock n roll is alive and well.

Kick ass show last night. The Reigning Sound were fucking great. The lead singer/guitarist, Greg Cartwright?, is an animal. He has a perfect voice for their garage rock/r&b type music. He did not treat his guitar gently. I think he broke about 4 strings throughout the night during his set and the Cobras set.

The Cobras come off much more rollicking live. I will definitely be checking out some older stuff because the stuff I didn't recognize was so damn good. They are tight as shit. They have this asain rhythm guitar player who must have a broken wrist because that't the only way she could strum that fast.

The lead singer can only be described as a "broad". Not a girl, woman, or a chick but a dyed platinum blonde booze swillin broad who didn't miss a note. She had a drink or a smoke in her hand all night and called for people to buy them shots after the show.

She's a bit beat up but it only added to the appeal of the band.

I highly recommend this for anyone who likes loud, sleazy, real rock n roll.

I had enough booze in me to throw caution to the wind and cap my night off with this:

3 regular Krystals
2 chili cheese pups
water

RAWK!!
