Now instead of going to AMG and using their search, all I have to do is type "amg pinback" or the like in my Firefox location bar to bring up the artist page for a band. Here's how it's done:

Go to www.allmusic.com (you can do this with any search on any site), right-click on the search input box and click "Add a Keyword for this search". Make the name "AllMusic artist search" or some such and make the keyword "amg." Enjoy.

i just added it as an engine to the search bar, once each for artists, songs, albums.

works with a normal google search engine bar as well..

type allmusic , then the artist band name, and the first listing will be thier page on AMG...

saves me the slow loading time of the intial page, which I always encounter when going to that site.

I've got Slimbrowser & I can change my quicksearch to AMG, IMDB, SNPP (Simpsons), Google, Google Images & like 20 other search engines, weather, online dictionaries or software download spots. I never inserted IHDB (Hockey) but if I google search a last name & put "IHDB" right after it always works.

Yeah, I use the quick search bar and have google, AMG, IMDB, Webster's, Amazon, etc.
