Anyone catch this documentary on Beulah? I just added it to my Netflix...didn't even know it existed. Here's more info...

Featuring the full-length documentary A Good Band Is Easy to Kill as well as 17 bonus songs filmed live on tour, this Beulah DVD captures the San Francisco rockers in some of their final performances before disbanding in 2004. A comprehensive set list includes "Landslide Baby," "Me and Jesus Don't Talk Anymore," "Disco: The Secretaries Blues," "Popular Mechanics for Lovers," "I Love John, She Loves Paul" and "Gravity's Bringing Us Down."

Is "I Am Trying to Break Your Heart" the documentary that "A Good Band is Easy to Kill" wishes it was?

Oh, in other Beulah related new, you might want to check out the new album from The Light Footwork. Here's info on it.....

RELEASE DATE - DECEMBER 6th 2005

Fans of Beulah are in for a rare treat!

Jay Underwood was the tour manager for the last Beulah tour, as seen on their DVD release "A good band is easy to kill", not only that, but he has enlisted members of the band to help put this record out, they play on the tracks, and Eli recorded the album.

If you aren't immediately drawn in by the way I'm flipping out over this band, maybe you will once I tell you that their new album, One State Two State, features members of Beulah on nearly every track. And what a band for those guys to do a little contributing to. The Light Footwork could very well be the band that Beulah fans were looking for. Listen to "Coastlines are Landmines" and tell me that you're not wondering if Miles got the band back together.

Tracklisting
------------
01 (3:50) Pirate Karate
02 (3:26) Coastlines are Landmines
03 (4:22) The Art of Everyday Communication Part 1
04 (2:49) Rapture Good Rapture Bad
05 (3:18) Exit Row
06 (4:00) Better Bow-Legged Than No-Legged
07 (3:47) Conquer On, Conquistador
08 (2:56) Mensa, AZ
09 (0:45) $$
10 (3:26) Yellow Smoke of Progress
11 (3:47) Docomo

Playing Time : 36:26
Total Size : 66.8 MB
