That is correct, January 15, 11pm EST, as it was the last two years.

Polls will open December 15, details coming then.

The question is, should I post the poll here as well as CMJ, or just CMJ?

Is there an amount per/entrance?

i.e. Top 10, Top 20, Top whatever the fuck you wanna put in.

Oh, and look for the GA contingent + Charli and maybe Radcliffe and Chuck D to skew this year's poll with the DBT's Dirty South representin'

Shmoo asks for a certain format to make it easier for him to rank. I think people usually post their top 20.

Cool, I guess I gotta start thinking about this...not sure if there's 20 releases worth ranking. I guess if I can include Crunk Juice, TI and L'il Flip it'll be straight.

Did The Black Album come out this year or 2003?

Ouch! Seeing as how it's being hosted here, I'd say it should definitely be posted here.

Well, I say we post it here seeing as we have moved here. It depends who you want to compile these lists. God knows who would participate if you posted it on the CMJ board.

I was just joking. It'll be posted in both locations. Don't want to exclude yarjax and Whiney.

Anyway, it's top 20 or less. I encourage you to only vote for albums originally released in 2004, but you can write-in anything you want, whether it's a Les Savy Fav singles comp, an Elbow album originally released in 2003, or a Beatles album from 1966. I think the Black Album was last year (2003).

Ha! You got me.

I like Yarjax's "Hey Guys! Did you see this!" topic. What guys?

I don't know if I'm considered one of the GA contingent, an honorary member, or what. I do know I will be helping the DBT cause.
