I saw a guy with a handlebar moustache that made hoops on the side of his face just last week.

I would, but my shit doesn't grow in real thick, and after a while it sloooows waaaaay down.

My great-great-grandfather quit shaving his moustache when he was 19 or 20. He had this big Yosemite Sam job on his face. My old man says when he was a little kid he thought it was funny that he ate and talked, since you couldn't see his mouth.

My beard this time is trimmed but the last time I grew a beard it was a full on Karl Marx motherfucker of a beard and I did try the handlebar moustache thing at home.

I didn't have the guts to leave the house with it though.

If I shaved the beard, I could do a tiny handlebar...

but I don't think the 'stache is going to grow much longer, and it's mostly upper lip. Therefore, I don't think I have the proper "extension" to pull one of these off...

Judging from that pelt climbing out of his shirt, looks like he could have grown that beard in an afternoon.

Or maybe he's been shoplifting minks at the mall.

I am growing new facial hairs at a rate of approx. 4 per year. I now have enough chin whiskers to have to shave about every 2 days, or look 15 years old (as opposed to 17).

I shave in the shower, sans mirror, with roughly 99.5% accuracy.

No mustache for me, ever, apparently.

I look back at pics of my dad at my age (bout '78) and he had a killer 70's stache, as well as some mighty-fine rose-tinted glasses.

I hang my head in shame.

The proximity of this thread next to the "Hello Saferide!" one is most excellent.

I can't grow a handlebar mustache. Heck, I can barely even grow a pornstache.

Never had a 'stache, never wanted one...which is good since I couldn't grow a full one if I tried. I have completely bald spots on the sides of my mouth to where a goatee would never connect. If you've ever seen Joe Dirt and remember the whole "It just grows in all white trash like that?" comment, that's me.

But I am refusing to shave throughout the duration of the World Series in support of the 'Stros. Should be interesting.

When my wife moved out west and I was still in Ontario, I let the stache grow, but kept trimming the beard, so I had kind of a handlebar. I kind of looked like Todd Parker in Boogie Nights.

I've been trying to grow a 'stache for 3 years now...

I'm still working on it.
