If I don't it just looks like I got a half-assed shave.

Plus, I don't think any of those guys are in the "Half-Man, Half-Ape" category that I'm in.

Im down with the Gillette M3 Power; gets my full endorsement....Its totally essential though to use a pre shave wash, quality shave gel, and aftershave lotion (especially if you have a baby face like moi)

Hmm, why?

I guess gay guys can stand sandpaper face?

The Mont Source stuff does not last me a full year. I use more of it than they recommend, though - more than 4 drops.

Yea, I'm not sure why. They also say to shave with cold water rather than warm.

Seriously, once I started using an electric, which is so much less a pain in my ass, I haven't looked back. The closeness factor is easily outweighed by the lack of bleeding/red splotches.

Not that I shave much anymore.

I don't shave.

I use tweezers, and I bend each one individually back and forth until it breaks off.

I'll have to consider that as a possible career change. Can I do it myself, or will someone else have to do it for me...

Okay, this is scary, I did a search on "tweezers love", and got 86,800 hits...

mach 3. works ok.

i'd go electric, but they're expensive (about $100) and i'm worried about it mauling my face in some sort of high-speed spinning razor guard mishap.

I love being a woman.

What's the point of all this shaving, dudes? Doesn't it seem kinda barbaric?

It's true that stubble chafes a bit. But, like the leg and pit hair so many women shave, if you leave it alone it softens up and blows happily in the breeze. Still, you gotta do what you gotta do I suppose.

My beard is so f'n coarse. I use Shick Quattro w/ Edge Gel for Tough Beards. I still look like I need to shave immediately after finishing.
I may need to switch back to Mach 3 and switch Shave product.
Oh, and bluejayway..... I've grown out a beard several times, and it doesn't get soft. It's like porcupine quills.

Shaving with COLD WATER? They're fucking crazy (and gay).

Stu, as a fellow beast, I can empathize. I rock the beard most winters, shave in the summers usually. I actually think I look a lot better with beard (and skinnier) but sometimes w/ the job you gotta look a bit more respectable.

I have found that Neutrogena makes some pretty good shaving products, so I use their pre-shave face wash and shaving gel, even though I now just shave the neck and a little part of my cheeks. I use Aqcua di Gio after shave balm, cuz it smells nice and makes my face feel really good.

And I use the Mach 3 Turbo, because it feels kinda cool, it actually does seem to help with the nicks/cuts and I am a target market SUCKER.
