I thought that he died within weeks of Kurt Cobain. I could swear it.

I thought that was why Shannon's death was overshadowed by Kurt's.

How did I remember wrong?

i thought they were pretty close as well. hmmm.

anyway....here's my SPOOKY kurt cobain/shannon hoon story.

i was a freshman in college the year both of them died. in my dorm room i had a picture of each of them hanging up at some place on my wall.

after kurt's incident in rome.....(his picture fell down.) i hung it back up. and it would stay for a week or so at a time. but it kept falling down. then he passed away.

i jokingly said that this picture's fate was linked to kurt's death.

shortly after that..... shannon's picture fell. same thing. i kept hanging it up. it kept falling down. then he died.
