Here's another: Image

Unfortunately, there is some filler on this, but these guys were ahead of their time. They wrote Shakin' All Over as well.

I really want to hear this. I've heard a few songs and all were good. Onto my wish list it goes.

I'm very glad this wasn't a Sum 41 thread (although I should disclose that I do have one of their CDs).

I remember reading that when the Clash did their version of Fuller's "I Fought The Law" he absolutely LOVED it. Even made friends and bandmates listen to it over and over. I always thought that was pretty cool of him - 'cuz the prevailing attitude of the elder rockers in the '70s was to regard the punks as a shitty fad that wouldn't last.

If you don't like the Clash's version, then I want the address of you and your family. The gene pool must be cleansed. Seriously.

That really is cool of him, tho.

Maybe it was Sonny Curtis that loved The Clash's version? Even though Bobby Fuller did write a lot of his own material, it was Curtis that wrote "I Fought The Law."

When Joe Strummer did that tour with the Pogues, "I Fought The Law" was their last encore. I wish I had a soundboard recording of it, because in memory it stands as the ultimate version.
