He's so thoughtful.

Ok, that's the album finished with for a few months, the tour's over and the Malcolm Middleton Group has been disbanded. Paul's gone back into the recording studio, Stewart's gone back into the office to run the label, and Alan and myself are currently studying hard for the imminent Arab Strap roadshow. We all had a great time on tour and the album was slightly successful so thanks to everyone who's been supportive and cares and was generally into it.
It was a shame the tour was so short but hopefully I'll have some time next year to do more gigs in places I couldn't get to this time around. Like Manchester. Or Barcelona. Or Skinflats.
A Moaning Shite, the recent b-side to Break My Heart is now available as a free download in the Audio/Video section of the site, help yourself. Unfortunately the 7" single was scrapped due to factory mishaps, delays, and then scheduling. Sorry, nothing I could do about it, (I did swear a lot though at people I like).
When my first album came out in 2002, Edinburgh video director Martin Smith shot a 13 minute film of Crappo The Clown messing around at home, at the circus, and in the Trossachs. The film's available now to download in the Audio/Video section, it's split into 3 parts for the sake of easy-ness.
Live Stuff.
I'll be playing an acoustic gig at Oran Mor in Glasgow on Wednesday 26th October. I don't have any details except that Aidan's dj-ing too and Beerjacket is supporting. (Darrin, you must go to this!)
I'll also be playing a few acoustic gigs in the U.K. at the start of December but nothing's confirmed so far. Details t.b.a. a.s.a.p. or something like that.
Take care,
Malcolm.
