I don't remember this ever coming up. Mine is the Stone Cutters theme song, We Do. The bit where "who makes Steve Gutenberg a star? Weee dooo" and he gives that bashful Oh You hand motion...

Discuss.

I want to go to Mt. Splashmore,
Take me, take me, take me, take me now!
Now! Now! Now! Now! Now!
Mt. Splashmore, take me there right now!

If the answer's not "see my vest", something's wrong.

The Monorail Song

"Is there a chance the track could bend?"
"Not in your life, my Hindu friend!"

STOP THE PLANET OF THE APES I WANT TO GET OFF IS THE ONLY CORRECT ANSWER HERE.

seriously, I have led filled bars in rousing choruses of this song, and it will be played at my funeral. on bagpipes. by a monkey.

God there are so many. (a testament to the show actually)

Right now I'll go with Lurleen's "Bagged Me a Homer".

She the country singer that Homer makes a star.

Dr. Zaius's medley/musical done to the tune of Amadeus.

My fave tune though is probably the commercial for Canyonero:

Can you name the truck with four wheel drive,
smells like a steak and seats thirty-five..

Canyonero! Canyonero!

Well, it goes real slow with the hammer down,
It's the country-fried truck endorsed by a clown!

Canyonero! (Yah!) Canyonero!
[Krusty:] Hey Hey

The Federal Highway comission has ruled the
Canyonero unsafe for highway or city driving.

Canyonero!

12 yards long, 2 lanes wide,
65 tons of American Pride!

Canyonero! Canyonero!

Top of the line in utility sports,
Unexplained fires are a matter for the courts!

Canyonero! Canyonero! (Yah!)

She blinds everybody with her super high beams,
She's a squirrel crushing, deer smacking, driving machine!

Canyonero!-oh woah, Canyonero! (Yah!)

Drive Canyonero!

Woah Canyonero!

Woah!

"Max Power—he's the man whose name you'd love to touch...
But, you musn't touch!
His name sounds good in your ear
But when you say it, you mustn't fear
Because his name can be said by anyone!"

Homer: Well beer, we've had some great times.
[wistfully]
When I was seventeen,
I drank some very good beer,
I drank some very good beer I purchased with a fake ID,
My name was Brian McGee,
I stayed up listening to Queen,
When I was seventeen.

"Flaming Moe's" has a soft spot in my heart, but I've got to go with "We're Sending Our Love Down The Well".

I have to agree with this.

Another good one, however, is:

My bologna has a first name, it's H-O-M-E-R
My Bologna has a second name, it's H-O-M-E-R

===
EDIT - is that song the same as the Dr. Zaius song? I can't remember. And which episode is that from? I need to watch it. Now.

My favorite Simpsons moment EVER is right after the intro when Cletus sticks his head through the intro slide and says, "Hey, what's goin' on over on this side?"

Correct. I forgot about this.

Can I borrow a feeling?
Could you send me a jar of love?
Hurting hearts need some healing,
Take my hand with your glove of love!

"Can I play the piano any-more?"
"of course you can!"
"well I couldn't before"[cheesy piano run]

breakdancing apes alone declares this the winner.
