Hell yeah. Every little preview I've seen and heard looks absolutely awesome, and my husband who is a huge, huge Cash fan thinks it looks pretty damn good.

I know people out there are making shit out of the fact that Pheonix and Witherspoon are singing(by the way Witherspoon is a great little actress and runs rings around many of the blondes out there in tinsel town) the songs themselves. What they don't get is that these two were trained by some of the best in the biz and by people close to the Cash camp, they weren't just picked because they were pretty, hell neither of em really are, they're awkwardly attractive at best.

I think they'll do a fine fine job.

And this and Harry Potter opening the same weekend makes me giddy.

As a big Johnny Cash fan, I see it as my duty to go see this movie and then complain incessantly about it.

Actually...it does look like it could be really good. The hairlip kinda bugged me at first, but I think he'll do a good job.

Do yourself a favour and check out the high def trailers on apple.com. You need a beefy computer to play them, but they're amazing.

I think the movie will probably be worth seeing even though I don't like that Phoenix dude's "acting".

Everytime I think of Phoenix as an actor I immediately think River, then smack my head, "Oh yeah, he's dead."

I think I have superimposed DiCaprio as River or vice versa.

I am taking a wait and see attitude, but am cautiously optimistic. A friend asked me about this yesterday, and after syaing he was unsure about Johnny Cash, I told him that if I ever really explained what Johnny Cash meant to me, It'd scare people. So, I hope they don't fuck it up...

I will be there opening weekend, though.

I think Witherspoon is purty, and so do several folks I know.

No I do too, but by Hollywood's standards she's not some perfect boob enhanced, botoxed blonde bimbo. Which I absolutely love her for.

When we were in New York I made josh and his sister go see that Heaven movie. While it wasn't the greatest, it was cute and I liked Ruffalo and Witherspoon in it.
