Not 100% confirmed, but the routing is bringing the date through Atlanta in late January. I hope it's on a weekend, because I'll be making the trip.

Be sure to get your tickets early----you don't want to have to wait out in front of the club for three hours on the night of the show, right Stu?

I hope Atlanta promoters don't screw this up and miss out.

I can't remember the last time the Cotton Club had a good show, but I think I'd actually rather go there than the Echo Lounge. It'd be awesome if they could play the Earl or the Variety, but those are each probably too small or too big respectively.

Anyway, I just hope they come.

I've seen some really good shows at Cotton Club (Gomez in 2000, Interpol, ...Trail of Dead, Lake Trout), I just don't like the venue. I always feel claustrophobic in there.

What don't you like about Echo Lounge?

The Cotton Club is NO MORE! I believe helmet was the last show there.

Thank god, there was no way that place could even hold a candle to the Old Cotton Club on peachtree.

Hey, I think I was at that same Gomez show. I also saw Mouse on Mars there in '01.

It's hard to say what I don't like about the Echo. Guess I've just had some bad experiences (like some terrifically over-sold shows). There's just something about that place. Maybe I've just been there too many times.

Oh, and I'll definitely be at the Arcade Fire show.

I wish I was still in Atlanta so I could see these guys again. When I saw that on P-fork this morning I actually thought about flying down for it. The best show I've seen all year. I still might do it. Need dat job though.

Speaking of the Tabernacle, the Tuesday following the Arcade Fire show Bright Eyes is playing.

Just an FYI.
