It's a five-years-old pic, meaning from five years ago, and taken on a lark.... Just to be silly.

I've shed about twenty or twenty-five pounds since, as well.

So, apart from the burnsides and goatee that have re-emerged on my face, I don't look exactly like I do in the photo.

well, the eye is usually dead quiet, with very still air. this time, the wind was still around 15-20 mph. when we finally went outside after the first part of the storm to survey the damage, the skys opened up, and it was even sunny. this only lasted for 35 minutes, and then the second half of the storm came in like a freight train. winds literally picked up to 75-90 mph within 3 minutes or so it seemed.

the main problem down here now is power, water, and gas. gas stations have cars lined up for close to a mile in certain areas.
