This little tidbit of news will make a lot (well, probably about 2,000) of people happy.

Well..I do live in one of those cities, but I'm probably too much of a dork to actually make it out.

Speaking of...why couldn't they travel a bit further south and perform in LA? Hmpf!

They Probably will - there's a nice gap of time between when they play ATP (late Feb.) and the SF show, and Brian used to live here when his wife was going to UCLA. I'm just not sure I want to risk it - after all, this is Slint we're talking about...

$25 tickets though, before service charge...

And, while we're on the subject, one of my roommates tried to tell me last night that these shows will probably not sell out right away (as opposed to ATP) because Slint is more mythologized over there. Am I the only giant nerd with an obner over this happening, or will no one care/know who they are, leaving yet another sign that I am gloriously out of touch?

crap! what are the odds of an east coast show(s)? if mlle wants me to go to d.c. to see a re-formed unrest, i might have to return the favor by requesting a SF or Chicago trip.

. . . you hear that? . . . i know you're out there reading this at work
