Anything you're looking forward to?

Here are some I'd like to hear with release dates from Insound (bold ones are likely purchases):

11/01 LANDING - brocade
11/01 P:ANO - ghost pirates without heads
11/08 AKRON/FAMILY & ANGELS OF LIGHT - s/t
11/08 DOUBLE LEOPARDS - a hole is true
11/08 NO-NECK BLUES BAND - qvaris
11/15 CARIBOU - marino (? dunno what this is)
11/15 MIKE LADD - father divine
11/15 SHALABI EFFECT - unfortunately
12/06 JACKIE-O MOTHERFUCKER - flags of the sacred harp
12/06 OUTKAST - idlewild (?)

I'm psyched about Outkast even though my expectations for what its actually going to sound like are a little low.

Not an official release, but I'm waiting patiently to hear the rest of the Strokes once its leaked.

And I'm curious to see if the Babyshambles album will be released in the States.

I honestly don't know if there's anything I'm looking forward to between now and the end of the year. New ones from Ryan Adams and Built to Spill and the new Wilco live album but I'm not really excited about any of those.

The new Ryan Adams sounds like a monumental clusterfuh.

Built To Spill? Is this more than a false rumor now?

The Chicago Reader says 11/15. There's an article by Bob Mehr about it this week.

I think it's a collection of the videos he uses live.

I'd like to hear the NNCK and the Shalabi.

I'm pretty sure there's one due out before the end of the year. Metacritic has it listed anyway.

There's actually more than I expected. Releases seem to taper off towards the end of the year, or at least that's what they've done in the past few years. I'm happy that I still have a few things to look forward to.

All of the above; I was listening to A Love Below recently and forgot how much I enjoy it. Plus that new Ryan Adams, even though the thought of an album of 9 min songs are a bit off putting.

you can buy that Cunninlynguists album on their website on November 18, but it isn't released to stores until January 24. This confuses the shit out of me.

Albums I wanna hear. + The Strokes, but I think that gets a January release date...but since we scoff at release dates, I'm counting on Dalen to find this.

After Halloween, crap gets released. 2005 is no different. Although, the Angels of Light/Akron Family, Sun Kil Moon and Ninja High School are rather good. Nothing end of the year list making, though.

The only upcoming albums that could possibly crack my Top-10 list at this point are by Redman, Jamie Foxx, and Pharrell Williams

pharrell, ghostface, and outkast.

i'm actually really stoked about the outkast album, since it's supposed to sound from the 20s or 30s or whatever.
