You know how some folks don't like so-called vagina rock? Not so into the cock rock, is all.

I used to hold a grudge against Nick Cave for stopping Wings of Desire dead in its tracks not once but twice.

Since then I've mostly forgiven him and blame Wim Wenders instead.

Boatman's Call rocks! Well, not really...

You are correct. It was incorrectly listed on Kazaa and others as being Phish.

I haven't heard any Nick til recently when Audiobill sent me the double album from last year...I've only listened to Abbatoir Blues, but I've really enjoyed it...I'm definitely gonna be diving deeper into his catalog

You so misunderstand them. Their songs are quite literal, really - for instance, "Givin' the Dog a Bone" is, in fact, about proper pet care - and not the oversexual joke that the haters think they are. In fact, ( think PETA and/or the ASPCA and/or Humane Society need to use "Givin' the Dog a Bone" in a commercial.

I'm ever upper class high society
God's gift to ballroom notoriety
I always fill my ballroom
The event is never small
The social pages say I've got
The biggest balls of all

I've got big balls
I've got big balls
And they're such big balls
Dirty big balls
And he's got big balls
And she's got big balls
But we've got the biggest balls of them all

And my balls are always bouncing
My ballroom always full
And everybody cums and cums again
If your name is on the guest list
No one can take you higher
Everybody says I've got
Great balls of fire

I've got big balls
I've got big balls
And they're such big balls
Dirty big balls
And he's got big balls
And she's got big balls
But we've got the biggest balls of them all

Some balls are held for charity
And some for fancy dress
But when they're held for pleasure
They're the balls that I like best
My balls are always bouncing
To the left and to the right
It's my belief that my big balls
Should be held every night

I've got big balls
I've got big balls
And they're such big balls
Dirty big balls
And he's got big balls
And she's got big balls
But we've got the biggest balls of them all

And I'm just itching to tell you about them
Oh we had such wonderful fun
Seafood cocktail, crabs, crayfish...

Ball sucker

AC/DC is like the Three's Company of double entendres.

I've never been entirely happy with any Nick Cave album, but at the same time he is one of my favorite artists of all time. The songs are better than the individual albums, if that makes sense.

Top 5:

The Curse of Millhaven
Up Jumped the Devil
Papa Won't Leave you Henry
Black Hair
Loom of the Land

Nick Cave is easily the best songwriter of the last twenty years. No one else can pull off anything nearly as diverse as his career. Quite frankly, the man's shit don't stink. Also, the best live performer i've ever seen, or will likely ever see.
