Dude, just watch "Gotcha" for everything you need to know.

Your taste in movies never fails to impress me.

WE LOVE IT!

"Gotcha?!?!?!", Dude seriously, are you O.K. 'cos I worry sometimes..........

This movie is a cold war classic. You gotta remember I lived over there when there was an iron curtain and shit.

For Amsterdam, when in the Red Light District, check for an adams apple. don't smoke at the Grasshopper, and try some space cakes at Coffee Shop 36 [Warmoestraat]. try some shrooms, and walk around...fucking blast. take a night time boat tour of the city. if possible, stay on the Damrak....most of the action is right nearby. the Swissotel on the Dam is a fantastic place to stay.

if possible, check out the Rijksmuseum. one of my favorite museums i've been too. vermeer, de hooch, rembrandt, dou, hals, bol, maes, steen, etc.

going back in february 2006, can't wait!

you're gonna have a blast Rick.

what's wrong with the grasshopper?

I will second the Rijksmuseum, but don't skip out on the Van Gogh, although depeding on your timing, the lines may be a mofo.

So, should I be worried that Paris is openly burning to the ground these days?

Christ! 8 nights in a row of rioting?!?!

I'll be there in a couple weeks and I'm thinking it should be fine. I think the rioting is relegated to the more poor neighborhoods. I'm just worried that they might close some of the main tourist attractions due to this.

Guess I shouldn't wear my fave shirt while I'm there:

Me and the F-E-M-G were talking about your trip the other night. I said it would be awesome just to hear B try to speak French in his open Dalton accent ;)
