With the exception of Veruca Salt, I don't think I've ever heard of ANY of those bands. Local SD groups probly?

My three questions:

Is there a festival website where you can listen to some samples?

Will there be reasonably priced and plentiful booze?

Will there be some cute broads?

I found the website: http://www.sdindiemusicfest.com/

Not bad. Links you to artist pages where you can dl samples [can't listen to at work].

There will be booze. The less cute babes the better, this will be a 'couple' outing and the gf gets all catty and crazy when she catches me lookin.

Don't think I'm going to go, though, for 2 reasons:

1. Verica Salt is the best they could do.
2. generes range from "heavy metal" to "Latin Folk" to "spoken word," etc. Sounds like a high school talent show. Get some focus, people! No need to throw shit together just to come up with 12 hours of music. Who likes these marathon shows, anyway?

Holy shit! Something to Burn are friends of mine -- local LA band, on the metal side.

The Bellrays are fairly known LA band.

Henry the narrator: It's shitty, but at least it's honest. That doesn't mean you should, or even could - you should be committed to a gal, totally committed, if you take that step, anyway - but that thought's in your mind when you see a hot woman.

I've heard of Veruca Salt.

But nothing from them in well over five years.

So I'd say no. Don't go.
