I thought I started posting in late 2001, but with all these other people who were here before me saying late 2001, i'm thinking it was 2002.

I didn't know anyone, but now I've met Sketchy, ayah, flowthgin, epa, AMPERSAND, Derek Phillips, Charli, Josh B, the lockness lobster, NeZ, Spade Kitty, shmoo, (albeit very briefly) KPH, SweetSweetDruganaut, katie, Haq and OPA.

If I tried to make a list it would take me a short while. Plus there's a couple people from the cmj board who have disappeared whose first names I remember but whose board names I can't.

Let me try to do this in order if possible:

Ampersand
Arpan(cannot remember his board name, but some of you may!)
Fastnbulbous
Kitt
Elizastan
Haq
Todd
Epa or whatever the heck he's calling himself these days
ERigby
Opa
Lemur
Mojo
Meghan(crap, another one whose board name eclipses me right now)
Andyfest
Cybin
Spade
The Obner
Katie
Robotboy
One Crazy Mooser
Dz
Timmyjoe
Shmoo
Ish
Locky the lockersons
geoduck
Z
Aural
Spontaneous Poet
Derek Phillips
FT
Sketch
Josh B
Red Plastic Buddha
Pumachik
Gordo
Shoegaze
fickerson
Natural Mike
Nez
MsHolly(she was on CMJ briefly)
Sergei what's his name
Hegel Oh's
and Jamie(another one whose board name I forgot suddenly-it's too early in the morning for this)

So crap, yeah ummm..44 and I may be missing one or two.

If I start a hefty, high gravity IPA right after Thanksgiving it should be ready by the All-skate. Do you promise not to break my house if it ends up being 8-9-10%?

Loogs won't break shit Chuck, but he will drink your beer really fast and not throw away the bottles, instead preferring to make a fine castle.

Strangely, IPA has too much hops for me, but I WILL drink it. And yail is right, I guzzle beer very fast, and never throw bottles away ;)

And, it looks like I will be making a trip to Austin as well, mang. (F-E-M-G's best friend stay there)

Been posting since OCT 2000 up in this piece. Holy Shit. I just realized I've been following the slow descent into what this board has become for over 5 years now.

I didn't know the ATL crew (let's just include anyone who are male and went to UGA in this group), but I know them, ya know?

Besides the aformentioned spiritual connection, I knew no one, but have met several. All listed in the appropriate thread somewhere else on this BBS.

i know i'll forget someone if i make a list, so i'll just say i've met many of the chicago obnish, two in philadelphia, and a few others scattered around when i was either there or they were here. it's maybe a total of 20, which is the most i've met from any board where i post.

and, um, i've also slept with someone who posts rather infrequently on this board, but i knew them before they posted here. so, i'm chalking that up as just a coincidence.

Wow, I realized I forgot a bunch of people from my list, so I went back and edited my post on page 3.

Yeah, it turns out my total is somewhere around 33, although I'm not including people who aren't active here.

I wonder what a high-gravity, low hops real ale would be like . . .

I knew no one coming in sept. 2001...

First two I met were Aaron and Jen, they came to see me play, which was very nice. Then I ended up rooming with aaron. Then Katie stole aaron away from me, but he and I are both straight so it never would have worked out anyways. Um, i've met aaron's brother andy, derek and josh from riviera, ryan from the pilots and I drink together on occasion, I'm in Graham's band on Matt's label (graham posted for like maybe 10 posts), Let's see... Trevor, Bob, both Colins, Tania, Velouria, Monty, Mike (Dreaded Marco), Mike (AFreshstartforme), Spence, Stacey, Chris (opa), Discostu, Dave (Shoegaze), Todd, Tim, Kevin, Eric, Matt (lemur), MFKC, Stone. I've missed Chase (college chase, not joey crack) twice on his visits to Chicago. I've been stood up by people I've guest listed at shows... fickerson, e-stone, a couple of other colorado obnish... for shame.

So not counting graham, I'm at 30. I may have missed someone. So yeah, if you're in town and you need a couch, a ride from the airport, etc... don't count on me, cause I'm an unreliable musician.

I forgot the following...

Ampersand
Fastnbulbous
Mojo
Cybin
Mark (lmao tse tung)
Timmyjoe
geoduck
Z
another Dave that i can't remember his screen name, but he's always at pilots shows....
Nez
Hegel Oh's
Jamie

so... 42. Wow, i need a life. Maybe if i join a FIFTH band.

I was drunk one night and stumbled on the old CMJ board, lurking ....waiting to strike.

Then obner came to be and I sensed my moment. Now they can't get rid of me!
